1. What this covers

These terms cover Jiotte Uploader, a command-line tool that uploads its operator's own video files to that operator's own TikTok drafts inbox. The tool runs on the operator's computer. There is no hosted service, no user account, and no one to sign up.

2. Who may use it

The operator, on their own TikTok account. The tool is authorized through TikTok's OAuth flow by the account holder, and it acts only on the account that authorized it. It is not offered to the public and there is no second party to these terms.

3. What it will and will not do

• It uploads a video file to the authorizing account's drafts inbox.
• It does not publish. Nothing becomes visible to anyone until the account holder publishes it themselves in the TikTok app.
• It does not set captions, privacy settings or publish times.
• It does not read, collect or transmit anything about other TikTok users.

4. Responsibility for content

The account holder is responsible for everything they upload and publish, and for complying with TikTok's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. Uploading through this tool does not change that.

5. TikTok's terms come first

Use of the TikTok API is governed by TikTok's own developer terms and policies. Where anything here conflicts with them, TikTok's terms govern.

6. No warranty

The tool is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. An upload may fail, be rejected by the API, or hit a rate limit. The operator accepts that risk.

7. Ending use

The account holder may revoke the tool's access at any time from TikTok's connected apps settings. Doing so invalidates the stored token immediately and the tool stops working until it is authorized again.

8. Changes

These terms may be updated. The date at the top of this page is the date of the current version.
